ADHD coaching is not a form of mental health therapy and is not billable through insurance. Coaching sessions are not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. However, as a licensed clinical professional counselor with specialized training in ADHD and executive functioning, I bring a deep understanding of the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects of attention-related challenges. This clinical perspective allows me to offer coaching that is not only practical and skills-focused, but also sensitive to the broader context of each client’s lived experience.
While therapy often involves emotional processing or exploring past trauma, ADHD coaching is a present-focused, action-oriented approach. It’s about equipping individuals with tools to improve time management, organization, motivation, follow-through, and focus—helping them work with their ADHD, not against it.
